School life is the best life!

 
This is because life is all about learning something new. School gives us a platform to do so. It is an essential part of human life as it is a place where we create nostalgic memories.

Everyone has different stories about their first day at school. Some winning, some really happy, some excited some scared and some with all kinds of mixed emotions. Then year after year getting promoted to the next grade and thinking about what will be new, having fun with friends, quarreling sometimes but then coming along together again - these are all beautiful moments of our school life. School is a place where we have fun at times and also be disciplined when required.

School is a place where a student is prepared for the outer world and also taught what duties the student needs to play as a responsible citizens. Some of us might feel that what is the need of getting up early every morning to come all the way to school, but this is one way through which we learn the meaning of discipline.

Why do all students were a similar uniform? This is because by this we learn that everyone around us is equal. Why are the extra-curricular activities introduced like sports introduced? The reason is that it teaches us to maintain a fit body. We learn many such essential values in the school.

Having fun, making memories, learning and exploring new things is all that school life is about and the best way to enjoy this is to live in the present ,by not worrying the past or future. We are all so fortunate to be a part of this Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Vidyalaya / International School as our school providesus with so many platforms to explore our inner selves - sports day, annual day, various inter house, inter BCG and Inter-School competitions including sports, music and drama. These are all opportunities where we get a chance to explore our talents.

Here at school we learn the skill of interacting with new people. We also learn values such as showing empathy, practicing mindfulness, being solution oriented and with all this, we also build up our self-esteem.

So a short message from me to you all is that,

Live this school life to the fullest, enjoy every moment, make wonderful memories that you can cherish later, because this time won’t ever come back!
